Rudiger & Azpilicueta blaming Kante plus Eduardo's near debut - Moments missed from Spurs defeat
There was a bit of tension on the pitch during the defeat at Stamford Bridge. Here is a bit of what could be recapped from the Sunday evening event.
Eduardo getting ready to come on![]() |

For a brief second that almost looked like it was going to be happen when in the first half Willy Caballero went down with an injury that seemed to threaten his time in the game.

Thibaut Courtois was out of the game already with a hamstring problem, so that meant that Eduardo was about to step up. The 35-year-old got up from his seat on the bench and put on a bib, ready to warm up.
However, unfortunately for him, Caballero stood up from his knock to the face and that meant Eduardo had to sit down. Such a shame for the veteran, but will he get a chance once again? It could be good to see him play at least once!
Hazard spin and nutmegging Lamela

However, there were a couple of moments that showed the Belgian's superb skills once again, with Hazard spinning away from his countryman, Mousa Dembele, with a wonderful turn.

Erik Lamela also had a decent game for Spurs, but he could do nothing about Hazard nutmegging him with a wonderful bit of skill that left the Argentine for dead.

However, it wasn't enough for the Blues to get the win and the Belgian didn't have a great match to do his 'big game' status any good.
Conte going mental

But at a couple of times the Blues boss was not thrilled with the refereeing and some of the Spurs players got away without getting a yellow card when they probably should have done.
Conte screamed at the fourth official after a nasty challenge on Eden Hazard that wasn't given as a foul by Andre Marriner, showing the sort of passion that he has had when he took over at Chelsea.

Cesar Azpilicueta |

Unfortunately, it came at the worst possible moment as Christian Eriksen fired in a wonder goal just before the break which put the visitors back on level terms going into half-time.
While Victor Moses had a big part to play in it, giving the ball away cheaply to Ben Davies, the defence really weren't happy with the midfield for not closing down the Danish midfielder.
Kante was the closest to him, but he backed off and allowed the shot to happen, meaning that he had the space, and both Cesar Azpilicueta and Antonio Rudiger let him know about their disappointment.
