The Daily Star claims that the Spaniard is interested in the Arsenal position should Arsene Wenger leave the club at the end of the season.
There have been calls for Wenger to step down as the Gunners continue to struggle domestically.
Enrique had been earmarked as an early
favourite to replace Antonio Conte, who himself is somewhat expected to
leave Chelsea at the end of the current campaign.
The former Barcelona boss is said to be worried about Chelsea’s ‘hire and fire’ policy.
Paris Saint-Germain have also been
credited with an interest in the manager who lifted the Champions League
with Barcelona during his time there.
The 46-year-old has been out of work since leaving the Catalan side at the end of last season.
Carlo Ancelotti and Thomas Tuchel have also been discussed as potential Conte replacements this summer.
