There has been no word so to say on the seriousness of the 21-year-old’s injury, and Chelsea fans will be hoping that it was just cramp after he was on the field for such a long time.
Denmark have two international friendlies lined up over the next few days, against Panama and Chile, and there’s a chance he could be forced to withdraw from their squad.
Chelsea will be hoping to have their star defender fit for the home game with Tottenham on April 1st, a game that will have huge ramifications on whether or not the Blues will be playing in the Champions League next season.
