Chelsea director reveals why Maurizio Sarri has left for Juventus
Maurizio Sarri has now completed his move from Chelsea to Juventus, and his departure was quickly followed by a classy statement from Blues director Marina Granovskaia.

The Italians announced the appointment of the former Napoli boss this afternoon.
Sarri, 60, has penned a three-year deal with the Serie A champions, who parted company with Max Allegri last month.
He leaves Chelsea after guiding them to a third-placed Premier League finish and Europa League glory.

Granovskaia is grateful for Sarri’s contributions to the club in his sole season at Stamford Bridge and thanked him for his efforts in a statement on Chelsea’s official website.

Granovskaia is grateful for Sarri’s contributions to the club in his sole season at Stamford Bridge and thanked him for his efforts in a statement on Chelsea’s official website.
“In talks we had following the Europa
League final, Maurizio made it clear how strongly he desired to return
to his native country, explaining that his reasons for wanting to return
to work in Italy were significant,” the statement read.
“He also believed it important to be nearer his family, and for the well-being of his elderly parents he felt he needed to live closer to them at this point.

“Maurizio leaves Chelsea with thanks from us all for the work he and his assistants did during the season he spent as our head coach, and for winning the Europa League, guiding us to another cup final and a third-place finish in the Premier League.
“We would also like to congratulate him on securing the role as big as any in Serie A and to wish him the best of luck for the future.”
On the other hand, Chelsea's all-time goalscorer Frank Lampard in the favorite to replace Sarri at the bridge with the former English international given assurance from Roman Abramovich that he would be given two season to turn the club's fortune around.
