The Blues boss has revealed that he has plans to stay in charge of the club while the ground undergoes development.

So far there have been some delays, which means Stamford Bridge’s transformation into a 60,000-seater stadium won’t be completed until around 2022 now, which also is an indication on how long Conte plans to stay with the West London Club.

Considering how long managers tend to stay in charge under Abramovich, that’s going to require some consistent results and a lot of silverware.

According to the London Evening Standard, the former Juventus boss claimed: “I want to break this bad record. I must be positive.
“When you start a job with a new club, I hope to stay in this club for many years. It means you have the possibility to work with the same players, to improve these players and years by years.

“Why not? I hope because this could be a fantastic challenge for me and also for the club, to stay together and also to play with this team in a new stadium.
