Pep Guardiola spake to BT Sport after seeing his side win the Community Shield on penalties against Liverpool, having said he felt it may not just be a battle between the two rivals in 2019/20.
“If we take what happened last season, that is true,” he said, when asked if he felt City and Liverpool would be the top two again.
“I would say that there are many, [Manchester] United will be back, Arsenal have bought good players, Tottenham as always have had a good pre-season and Chelsea of course are always there. I don't know what is going to happen, I will just try to prepare the team and try to win, and we will see what happens.”
