Former Chelsea winger Eden Hazard has thanked Roman Abramovich for helping him to realise two of his footballing dreams and the Chelsea board.

Chelsea and Real Madrid confirmed on Friday night that they had reached an agreement over an £88.5m transfer for the Belgium international and he will be unveiled at the Santiago Bernabeu latest Thursday.

Just minutes after his move to the Spanish capital was made official, Hazard took to social media and sent a classy message to Chelsea fans, while also thanking Club owner, Abramovich.

"Before I go, one last thank you to everyone at the Club for their tremendous effort as we lived through every moment," he posted on Facebook.

"To all of my ex-Colleagues we will say our goodbyes at the right time but I must thank the owner Mr Abramovich and his board for helping me realise not one, but two dreams, my first in becoming a Chelsea player and today my second, becoming a player at Real Madrid.

"I wish each and every one of you the very best my friends."
