AC Milan are ainterested in Kovacic

According to a report from Corriere dello Sport, AC Milan have developed a strong interest in signing Inter Milan target from Real Madrid. 

AC Milan are also interested in Mateo Kovacic

The Rossoneri look set to challenge their city rivals Inter for the signature of the Croatian midfielder, who is no stranger to the city having previously played for Inter.

AC Milan technical director Paolo Maldini and chief of football operations Zvonimir Boban are understood to have met with Real Madrid officials over the 25-year-old, just like Inter chiefs did.

Kovacic is believed to no longer be part of Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane’s plans at the Santiago Bernabeu and spent the past season out on loan with the Blues.
