The Italian news outlet states that the
Blues are reluctant to complete the permanent signing of the Argentina
international, who could be on his way to the Far East in the current
transfer window.
Higuain is still on the books at
Juventus, but with Maurizio Sarri currently at the helm at Stamford
Bridge, whether or not he would be signed permanently by Chelsea is uncertain.
However, TMW reports that the Blues have decided against activating their option to buy him for €36 million this summer.
Nevertheless, Higuain is hardly an unwanted man.
It is stated that Hebei have established an interest in
recruiting the ex-Real Madrid front-man, and are looking to lure him to
the Chinese Super League with a lucrative offer.
A contract worth €13 million per season
is said to have been tabled as they pursue the on-loan Chelsea forward
ahead of next season.
