Chelsea's pre-season friendly with Salzburg date announced

Chelsea will travel to Austria this summer to face RB Salzburg as part of our pre-season campaign.

Chelsea will play the Austrian champions, which will climax their Bundesliga season this weekend, at their 30,000-capacity home on Wednesday 31 July.

Kick-off time and ticket information will follow in due course.

It will provide top-level competition for the Blues against a fellow Champions League side ahead of the 2019/20 Premier League season, which commences on Friday 10 August.

Fixtures of the Premier League, also, will be announced on Thursday 13 June at 9am.

The Blue will also be on their way to Japan, where they will play against J.League champions Kawasaki Frontale in Yokohama on 19 July before facing Barcelona in Saitama on 23 July.
