Chelsea successfully arrive in Azerbaijan

The Chelsea team who flew on Monday to the Final of the Europa League set to hold on Wednesday have arrived Azerbaijan successfully.

Chelsea players arrival in Baku, Azerbaijan

Maurizio Sarri and his squad touched down shortly after 12.30am local time on Tuesday morning following a five-hour flight from London. Azerbaijan is three hours ahead of the UK.

The players will train in the Baku Olympic Stadium on Tuesday evening, with live coverage of the last session before the final available on this website at our LIVESTREAMS tab.


Before training there will be a press conference, when Sarri and two of his players will address the media. That is scheduled for 5.15pm UK time and will also be broadcast live.

The arrival of the Blues was accompanied with a resounding welcome following beats of drums outside their plane at the airport.
