After Europa League final, Cech will be back at Chelsea!

Chelsea are set to appoint former Blue and goalkeeper legend Petr Cech as sporting director.

Czech goalkeeper Petr Cech will be back to his former club, Chelsea, after Europa League final. He will be returning to the club as sporting director following Arsenal’s Europa League Final against the Blues.

Cech, 37, is calling time on his legendary playing career and he'll be returning to a club with which he earned 15 trophies including a Champions League.

The three-time Best European Goalkeeper also won three trophies with Arsenal.

It would be pretty surprising if Unai Emery selected him over Bernd Leno for the final in Azerbaijan, but Cech is certainly respected worldwide and will be the type of personality to bring some stability to Chelsea.
