Lazio ready offer for Chelsea's Zappacosta

Serie A side S.S. Lazio have table a loan offer for Chelsea Zappacosta with option of marking a permanent move.

Lazio are looking to bring in a right-back during the January transfer window - and Chelsea’s Davide Zappacosta has been touted for a move to the Italian capital.

Adam Marusic and Patric are the two who have been utilised most as right-wing back’s in Simone Inzaghi’s squad, with Dusan Basta out-of-favour having made just two appearances all season, the Biancocelesti are seeking to strengthen their options at full-back.

Thus, according to Il Messaggero, Lazio are ready to table a loan offer for Zappacosta, with the option of making the move permanent in the summer for €10-12 million.

Should an agreement be reached with Chelsea, the player wages of around €2.2m a season, shouldn’t be an issue for the Biancocelesti.

Zappacosta has made just two substitute appearances in there Premier League for Chelsea, but started all six of their Europa League matches.
