‘Bring him back’, ‘Sack Conte and hire him’ – Chelsea fans call for club legend to return
The Blues are struggling in the Premier League, and a
top-four finish is no longer what they’re expecting – it’s now simply
what they’re desperately hoping for.
Whilst the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham continue to impress,
Chelsea have been poor over the last 2 months or so, and they’ve paid
the price.
They’re now playing catch-up in the race for a strong finish, and simply put, it’s not looking too good.
In truth, more than a few things are going wrong at Stamford Bridge, and one thing that they’re desperately lacking is leadership. The Blues, of course, lost John Terry over the summer, and Antonio Conte has yet to really replace him.
For the Chelsea fans over on Twitter, though, they don’t want a replacement – they want the real John Terry. The Blues recently posted on their official Twitter page that the Englishman had visited their Cobham training base, and fans responded in their droves to discuss the news.
