Michy Batshuayi’s response to the own goal that put Spurs level with the Blues had fans forgiving him instantly.
Michy was devastated when he flung the ball into his own net throwing Tottenham a life-line of some sorts.
However, another goal by Marcos Alonso put Chelsea ahead 2-1, which went onto be the full-time score.
The Chelsea official Twitter account tweeted out about the win and Michy’s reply was hilarious.
Batshuayi responded to his goal by joking and thanking team mate Marcus Alonso for scoring the winning goal.

He replied to Chelsea’s tweet on his personal Twitter account, and said: “Yeah tell me about it lol. Phew thanks Marco Alonso” along with a worried face.
Michy later tweeted out reasuring the fans that he will be working hard
this season saying: Could have been worse… thankfully this team has
incredible ressources, and @marcosalonso03 left foot
