Pedro now ruled out for the rest of the Blues tour in Asia. + VIDEO.
Pedro suffered concussion following a collision with Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has revealed.
The former Barcelona man who had been influential for the Blues was laid out on the edge of the 18-yard box as Ospina attempted a clearance.

Pedro was then taken to hospital for more tests and kept overnight for observations, but Antonio Conte has reassured that all was okay and that the Chelsea winger would rejoin the tour immediately afterwards. Pedro himself took to social media to deliver a similar message, saying that “everything is ok”.

However, it now looks as if everything might not be completely okay, as the decision has now been made to send Pedro back home to London for “further review” of the concussion as well as what’s being called “facial injuries”.

Instead of re-joining the rest of the squad who had flown to Singapore after Saturday’s match, Pedro is now out for the rest of the pre-season Tour of Asia.
