Chelsea defender signs new deal and completes loan move away.
Chelsea youngster Jay Dasilva has officially signed a new four-year contract away from the Blues.
He has now rejoined Charlton on a season-long loan.
Dasilva, 19, ended last season on loan with the League One side and Chelsea are keen for him to pick up more first-team experience.
The midfielder made 10 appearances during his first spell with the Addicks, four of them as a substitute.
“I’m very happy to be back at Charlton for the season,” he told the club’s website.
“I really enjoyed myself here last season and I feel like I did well when I got my chance in the team.
“We finished strongly and I’m hoping that I can build on that momentum when the new season starts.”
