Denmark international confirms he will join Chelsea for the Pre-Season

After two years away on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach, Andreas Christensen is heading back to London

He has confirmed that he will join the Blues ahead of the new Premier League season.

The Denmark international has been on loan for the past two seasons at Borussia Monchengladbach, where he has been on
the Chelsea loan army list impressing Borussia.

He has well established himself as a first-team regular for the Bundesliga side and Andreas will now talk to Conte about his future.

Now that his loan deal has finished up, Christensen heads back to Stamford Bridge to make a decision on his long-term plans.

“I will join up with Chelsea on July 7,” he told BT. “I haven’t talked to Conte yet.
“I have talked to the sporting director and all those responsible for getting the players set up with a flat and what else belongs to them.
“The sports director says the plan is that I meet like all the others and go through the pre-season.” he said.
